Oahu's first master-planned community was officially born on June 21, 1968. Faced with a declining demand for sugar cane and pineapple, landowner and developer Castle & Cooke built Mililani Town. Still considered one of the best planned communities, Mililani is self-contained with homes, condos in many price ranges and has shopping centers, theaters, churches, restaurants, schools and six recreation centers and more than a dozen parks. Land ownership is Fee Simple.
