Kailua is to the north-west of Waimanalo and south-east of Kaneohe.

Kailua and Lanikai are home to more than 58,000 residents that live in one of the most beautiful areas on Oahu. With the Ko'olau Mountains to the south and gorgeous Kailua Bay to the north, Kailua has a small town feel. The homes here are single-family detached homes, low, medium and high-rise condominiums and up-scale retirement apartments.

Developed in 1924, Lanikai means "sea heaven" and is a prime beachfront community. According to coastal geologist and America's foremost beach authority Dr. Stephen Leatherman, "Dr. Beach", Lanikai Beach is the Number 1 beach in the United States!

Land ownership is mixed Fee Simple or Leasehold.

Along with Kahala, and Hawaii Kai-Portlock-Koko Kai-Triangle some of the most desirable homes on Oahu can be found here in Kailua-Lanikai.
