Aiea,
sitting in the junction of four or more major traffic arteries and close to
downtown Honolulu is an ideal place to live if you wishes to avoid traffic
gridlock. Further, it provides a ready gateway to Mililani and Kapolei, as well
as the Windward side. Major military installations of Army, Navy, Air Force, and
Coast Guard are close and convenient.
Major visitor centers Arizona Memorial, USS Bowfin, and USS Missouri are minutes
away, as is Aloha Stadium. Access to Honolulu International Airport takes 10
minutes but jet aircraft noise is almost non-existent.
Aiea is mostly established neighborhoods with stable residents.
Access to shopping centers like Pearlridge Center, Waikele, and Pearl City is
excellent. It is a great place to live, affording maximum flexibility and
choices with good neighbors.
